They switched to a new location, it's more spacious than the last. The service is great & food met my expectations.

This place is so good. Love the free heated chips and salsa bar! The carnitas here are AMAZING, super juicy and crispy. I started coming here like 10 years ago and it's still great. I've only ever been here at night and it gets packed, line through the whole place. The place itself is pretty dingy to be honest, but I mean it's a vibe. Protip: you can order online with a QR code on their menu to skip the line.

the Cali super burrito with chicken makes me shake my head in disbelief with every bite. best burrito I've ever had anywhere in CA.

i was one of the original people to start yelp but hardly ever post....as my son says...he is 36 and i am71 "dad no one posts on yelp". well this is only my third time.....i live here in aptos for 17 years and i go to de la colemana, watsonville.....great food....i go to los gordos aptos.....good food, i have been going to manuels in aptos for over 50 years great food and service but......the last two mornings i went taqueria los pericos that opened another store here in aptos......and hands down the best i have had here on the coast..... being mexican by heritage and i make my own posoli and birria....and menudo......i ordered lengua burrito for breakfast delicious.... if y0u are ever in santa cruz or aptos or corralitos, california.....must try...thats all for now michael gutierez 925-708-1312

I catered a taco bar for a backyard party with Los Pericos. It was fantastic! The food was delicious and guests loved it. They provided so much extra food, I could have fed twice as many people. You have to pick up from their Corralitos location, but they packed the food in boxes & loaded it in the car for an easy ride home. I would use them again.

Decided to stop by for a quick dinner after a day in Santa Cruz and none of the food disappointed. Ordered the quesadilla and turbo burrito and it was so yum.

I love this place, simply put. I don't live near Santa Cruz but I will make the trip up just for this place. The food comes out quickly and is always such good quality. There's unlimited chips and they have a salsa bar. Their orange salsa is to die for. It is so unique, and always tastes so incredibly good topping my burrito. The atmosphere is also nice, they have a bar setup on their back wall. The store is small though and so it gets crowded. Parking has usually been an issue for us too because its so small, but you can find parking behind the restaurant too.

How does anyone give this place less than 5 stars? If they do it legitimately I want to know where else they are going... I want to state that I go to A LOT of taquerias. I travel for work. I love Mexican food. I will go to any random a$$ taqueria anywhere. Most are decent. A few are bad. A few are great. Only one is this place... Food is amazing. Some of the best I've had. Nothing more to say. Just go and you will understand. The service was solid. Nothing fantastic, but did what they needed to do. They were friendly. Place was clean. That's all I need. I will 1000% be back here and I hope it is sooner than later. If it looks busy, there is a reason. Go anyway. It's worth the wait and they get people out of there fast!

Came here for lunch after visiting and hiking 5 miles at Henry Cowell Redwoods. This place is a bit of a hole in the wall type place, but it did not disappoint!! Sometimes the best food comes from hole in the wall restaurants!! The parking lot is small, but there's some parking on the street nearby and even some parking garages around the area as well if you don't mind walking. Be advised most parking surrounding the area you do have to pay for since the downtown Santa Cruz shopping area is nearby. Seating inside is pretty minimal, but customers seemed to be enjoying their food and going on their way once they were done with their meal. They also had staff trying to ensure the seats and tables stayed clean once customers left. They have a chip and salsa bar which you can enjoy as much as you want! They had lots of items on the menu. I ordered a California Burrito and my friend ordered one of their quesadilla's. My burrito was huge for the price- I ate half for lunch and half for dinner! Very satisfying. For drinks you can ask for a water cup or oat for a soft drink The soft drink machine has all your normal sodas, then they also have the Horchata and drink machine (personally my favorite drink at any taqueria!) Definitely would love to return and try more items off the menu if i'm in the area again!
